Parallax was recently listed as one of the fastest-growing tech companies in the north of England. The "Northern Tech 100 league table ranks the top hundred fastest-growing tech companies in the North - Parallax placed 49th on the list, with a growth rate of 37%. It's another sign we’ve come a long way from our humble beginnings. The agency was founded in 2010 by four friends — Dario Grandich, Lawrence Dudley, Andy Fitch and James Hall . In true start-up style, the company was originally run from several bedrooms across York, but with so much business coming from nearby Leeds, merging together and moving cities was the next logical step.Since then, we’ve built numerous websites and apps for some extremely high-profile clients. We contributed to the serverless recording technology behind "the official UEFA Euro 2016 anthem, worked on advertising software for British Airways, created a voting system for Sportswomen of the Year for The Sunday Times and Sky Sports" and built an app for Enterprise Car Club. We’re honoured and excited to be featured on Tech North’s prestigious list. Over the past few years, we’ve taken on more and more big-name clients, expanding our capabilities in every direction. We’re first and foremost a tech company, built from the ground up by talented developers. But these days we’ve evolved into a full-service digital agency, delivering everything from branding to marketing to design. And the most exciting thing is, we’re still growing. When we’re not working on large-scale projects for businesses, we use our regular hack days to turn our attention to other creative ideas. We’ve built an Alan Partridge sample text generator, an SVG map tutorial, an OS X headphone detector and "an emulator for Facebook instant articles. We also made a multi-award-winning interactive quiz game during Donald Trump’s US presidential campaign.
